Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How does ClipprOS calculate barber commission?+

You configure each barber's revenue split in ClipprOS Settings — for example, 60% to the barber and 40% to the shop. Every time a sale is logged for that barber, the commission is automatically calculated and recorded. The barber's take-home and shop's share are shown separately in the performance dashboard.

Can each barber have a different commission percentage?+

Yes. Commission settings are configured per barber — so you can have senior barbers on a 70/30 split and junior barbers on a 60/40 split, all calculated accurately in the same report.

How are tips tracked?+

Tips are logged per transaction in the Sales flow. Your shop's tip policy (barber keeps, shop keeps, split, or pooled) is configured in Settings. ClipprOS applies the policy automatically to each tip recorded and shows the barber's tip income separately from their service commission.

Can I see a barber's performance over multiple months?+

Yes. The Analytics page allows you to filter by any date range — including custom ranges spanning multiple months or the full year-to-date. The per-barber breakdown updates to reflect whichever period you select.
